More than 40 years have passed since 30th April 1982, the day Pio La Torre, the secretary of the Italian Communist Party, was assassinated by the Sicilian Mafia, along with his driver Rosario Di Salvo. This documentary tells his story for the first time, the story of the exemplary life of a man who was wholly dedicated to civic engagement.
